ABSTRACT
A Psicologia Evolucionista (PE) é uma área da Psicologia que estuda o processo de evolução e suas relações com o comportamento humano. Contudo, esse termo foi utilizado apenas no século XX com a revolução da Biologia e da Ciência Cognitiva. Embora pesquisado no mundo todo, no Brasil há poucos pesquisadores dedicados ao tema. Objetivou-se realizar um levantamento de publicações sobre PE em periódicos brasileiros de acesso livre, on-line e com mecanismo interno de busca (buscador), no período entre 1990 e 2013, segundo a classificação Qualis da Capes, em qualquer estrato. Foram encontrados 46 artigos que abordaram temas como a Teoria da Evolução, seleção sexual de parceiros, Psicologia do Desenvolvimento, reações faciais e emocionais de crianças e adultos, Teoria da Mente e Parentalidade, transtorno de personalidade antissocial, de estresse pós-traumático e autismo. No Brasil, identifica-se que essa área é recente e merece ampliação de pesquisas e publicações, bem como uma inserção maior do tema nos cursos de graduação em Psicologia
Evolutionary psychology (EP) is an area of psychology that studies the organisms' evolution process and its relationship with human behavior. However, this term was only used in psychology starting in the twentieth century, with the revolution of biology and the cognitive sciences. Although widely researched worldwide, there are still few researchers devoted to this subject in Brazil. The objective of this paper was to analyze Brazilian publications on EP, from 1990 to 2013, utilizing free online journals, through search engines and with the CAPES' QUALIS classification in any excerpt. Research revealed 46 articles which addressed the EP theme, such as the evolution theory, sexual partner selection, developmental psychology, facial and emotional reactions in children and adults, theory of mind and parenting, antisocial personality disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder and autism. In Brazil, the EP theme is recent and, therefore, such subject can be further developed and improved by the inclusion of the EP in psychology undergraduate courses
